Reminiscent.

I believe my new neighbor, the one who bought the itty bitty house next door, is a drummer. And it seems they are consistent about practicing at 8 pm, aka now. I've learned throughout this pandemic that I am very sensitive to noise. This morning, my other neighbor kindly shoveled the snow. But waking up to scrape, scrape, scrape? That's how horror movies turn horrid.

I'm excited to be here and document a few casual moments of my life again. I can pretend I am seventeen and yearning for a new beginning. Jokes on me that it's been 10 freakin' years. Minnesota's pretty good.

I have enjoyed creating ornaments for my tree. I also picked up some adorable wooden ones from Art Scraps.

The most gratifying part of this year has been learning to crochet and now crocheting gifts for friends. I feel so full when they text me pictures of the item now in their world. It's a lovely balm to this extended isolation, for sure.

I look forward to coming back here.
