Hey now, you're an all-star.
Here's the pair of converse I had my friends write all over at the end of seventh grade. There are a few witty comments and I know I said they also wrote on my shoelaces...yeah, well, I had taken them off after they inked my hands the years ago and I'd have to locate 'em.

So many good memories inscribed on a pair of shoes you can wear everyday. Wearing memories.
I'd think if they were writing on the inside, you would have to notice, because wouldn't they have to take the shoe off your foot in the first place?

ReplyDeleteCoraline was okay. I haven't read the book. It was really creative, with talking cats and a girl with blue hair and the world of button-eyed creeps and ugly people. And I think ugly cartoons are sinister. But then, the story and the characters, however odd/freaky they were, the exquisite animation made up for it.
I give it a 8.2/10.
oh i wish i had a pair of converse! i've been wanting a pair for years but for various reasons i haven't bought some.

"I wonder if she'll find this" I would be the kind of kid that wrote that, lol. Those are such a great memory to have stored in your closet. I love this idea. It's beyond the "sign my plain white Hanes tee" at the end of the year idea.
